Eclipse Bio would like to bring to your attention that a modified version of our “eCLIP kit” has been recently launched and renamed to “RBP-eCLIP”. The former eCLIP kit, (cat # ECK001) has been permanently DISCONTINUED. The latest version of the RBP-eCLIP kit includes two additional quality control steps to help facilitate experimental design and maximize data quality.
1. Change: RNA quality and quantity assessment prior to overnight IP on Day 1
a. Reason: This step allows for RNA fragmentation optimization for a variety of different types of starting material (cells or tissue) and factors in the RNA integrity (RIN). Supplemental material available upon request
2. Change: RNA imaging blot on Day 2
a. Reason: Imaging RNA post IP allows for confirmation of successful crosslinking, validates antibody efficiency and confirms protein of interest as a bona fide RBP.
Additional optimization for reagents volumes and procedural steps have been incorporated.
For your convenience, we have provided the links to both versions of protocols below.
